Green Cars Coming Soon to Albuquerque
On Thursday, March 20, the CEO of Tesla Motors, Martin Eberhard, addressed business owners in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He described the cars he plans to start manufacturing in New Mexico next year.
We have known for sometime that Tesla Motors was coming to town. But it was interesting to hear him talking, in person (using charts, graphs and pictures) about the cars he plans to manufacture and their capability. He compared alternative types of fuel and the probability of satisfactory production, and he explained the significance of manufacturing attractive, efficient, low carbon emission electric cars — cars for fun, for people who like cars, for performance, and for image.
